TJ Wies Contracting currently has openings for Taper Apprentices. Taper Apprentices will receive on - the - job instruction from a TJ Wies Journeyman Mentor, in addition to their union training and education. Starting wage is approximately $17.00/hour dependent on union locale, with vacation benefits. After 600 hours employees will receive full health insurance and at two years will start accruing retirement benefits. Applicant must be physically fit to perform the work of the trade, and able to follow direction, adhere to safety requirements, and work well as a member of a team.
